喬安納的房間

詩人為什麼要寫一首跟黑豬有關的詩？詩名：黑豬谷。《A new commentary on the poems of W.B. Yeats》（作者Alexander Norman Jeffares, William Butler Yeats）解讀豬本為肥沃的象徵，是自然界很強大的力量，因為無法控制，久而久之被轉化為邪惡的象徵。

第一段描述葉慈夢見的一段獵殺追逐，但最後倒楣的是獵人，落馬死亡。第二段是人類在所建立的文明中忙碌，已厭倦了這世界上的帝王，因此向這自然的力量致敬，黑豬才是恆久星系與燃燒的門的主人。 

由這看來，葉慈對黑豬的自然力量應該是正面的尊崇。他希望人們能反璞歸真回到自然的狀態。而詩裡提及的環狀巨石、石塚、燃燒的門，都讓我想到特洛伊戰爭：人們自以為豪的希臘文明，因為一個女人而被蹂躪摧毀殆盡。想到這邊，可能我們真的有很多地方得向黑豬學習…。

Of unknown perishing armies beat about my ears.
